INSIDE AN AVILA EDITORIAL
An immersive experience built around movement, variety, and beautifully composed scenes.
During a styled wedding editorial, multiple model couples are placed within thoughtfully designed scenes at stunning venues, allowing creatives to move through each setting and capture a range of imagery. Participants rotate through curated stations—from bridal details and flat lays to floral installations and fully styled portraits—each one carefully composed with selected wardrobe, jewelry, and hair and makeup. The result is a structured yet fluid experience that provides a diverse, cohesive body of work.
All that’s required is your presence, your perspective, and your camera. Everything else is thoughtfully prepared, allowing you to focus fully on how you see the scene and what you capture. It’s an experience designed to remove distraction and give you the space to work with clarity, confidence, and creative freedom alongside other wedding creatives and professionals. TUSCANY, ITALY
Set in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Villa Catignano offers a setting defined by historic architecture, warm stone textures, and expansive countryside views. Its natural light, open landscapes, and quiet sense of place come together to shape imagery that feels layered, romantic, and deeply connected to its surroundings. We will be returning on March 9–10, 2027, spots are limited. Book now!
PARIS, FRANCE
Just outside of Paris, Château Bouffémont offers a setting defined by grand architecture, manicured grounds, and a quiet sense of elegance. The Château's scale, symmetry, and natural light shape imagery that feels composed, romantic, and distinctly European in character. We hope to return to France in the fall of 2027, offering another opportunity to create within this setting.
UNITED STATES
Across the United States, our work has taken us from Texas to California, capturing editorials in cities such as Dallas and San Antonio, as well as at distinctive venues like the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In Southern California, we’ve also created within vineyard settings such as Europa Village in Temecula, where European-inspired architecture and landscape offer a setting reminiscent of the Italian countryside. Each location brings its own character—from historic estates to coastal views—shaping imagery that reflects both place and design. We plan to continue expanding into East Coast editorials in the near future. Stay tuned!

From Zurich to Lake Lucerne, each setting is selected to provide a cohesive and visually rich environment for capturing elevated, destination wedding imagery.
The experience includes multiple shoots, workshops, accommodations, and meals throughout your stay. Airfare and travel insurance are not included.

Set in the Tuscan countryside near Siena, this multi-day editorial experience unfolds across a historic 17th-century estate and the charm of the surrounding village. Villa Catignano—a setting defined by hand-painted fresco interiors, sculpted gardens, and elegant statuary. From engagements in Siena to sunset portraits and a full, publish-ready wedding editorial, each element is designed to offer a cohesive and immersive experience.
This experience includes an exclusive overnight private stay at the villa and some meals provided. Airfare and travel insurance are not included.

Meet Marie Leu
Welcome to Avila Weddings. I’m Marie—founder, photographer, and creative director. This work is designed for photographers, videographers, and wedding content creators who are ready to strengthen their portfolio, expand their visibility, and step into a more established position within the wedding industry.
With over 15 years of experience in wedding photography, I understand both the creative and professional challenges that come with growing a presence in this space. Through that experience, I recognized the need for environments where photographers could produce work beyond the limitations of client-driven timelines and expectations. Avila Weddings was created to provide access to those environments—where every element is intentionally designed to support strong, cohesive, and publishable imagery.
Each editorial brings together thoughtful design, experienced collaborators, and carefully selected settings to ensure you leave with work that strengthens your portfolio and supports publication opportunities. Just as importantly, the experience itself is designed to be both inspiring and enjoyable—offering the space to create freely, connect with other creatives, and fully immerse yourself in the work.
